Hannah is from Brisbane and Nathan is from the Gold Coast, after meeting 10 years ago in November 2007 they now both reside on the Gold Coast together with their beloved Bulldog ‘Hudson’. They both have a love for the beach and this is where they met on the Gold Coast.
Nathan proposed to Hannah in 2016 on a weekend away with family and friends on Moreton Island in Queensland, whilst on their 6 AM morning walk with the dogs. Hannah was blown away and had no idea this was coming.
Hannah and Nathan have always been very fond of Phuket and this is where they shared their first overseas holiday together. They both thought why not go abroad to Thailand and celebrate their marriage in a place they loved. Hannah knew she always wanted her wedding at the Nai Harn Hotel after experiencing a party previously at the venue and the view was spectacular!!!
Hannah envisioned a very traditional wedding being held at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Phuket Town with a great party to follow. The view from the Nai Harn is incredible so working with this she wanted to keep it simple with white flowers and greenery with complementary candle lighting.
Hannah and Nathan are not fond of cake so decided a champagne Tower was more fitting, this was followed by a display of magnificent fireworks.
Touches on the day included signature cocktails “Blushing Hannah” (Cosmopolitan) and “Just Married” (Pineapple Martini), large white peacock chairs for the bride and groom and after party thongs for the guests.
All guests thoroughly enjoyed an exquisite buffet that consisted of both Western and Thai food with a selection of fresh seafood including oysters flown in from France the morning of the wedding. Hannah and her mother worked closely with the Executive Chef, Mark Jones, and previously had the opportunity to build a menu to their specific taste and sample each item on the menu beforehand.
The newlyweds celebrated and enjoyed their special day with 76 of their closest family and friends from around the world. The party continued until late and a fabulous time was had by all.
