A minimalist wedding for anyone who loves contemporary architecture
Meghan and James met while working in their first jobs and quickly became friends. After several years as colleagues, the pair decided to explore something further. One thing led to another, and before she knew it, James was proposing to Meghan on a family trip over the holidays. James had orchestrated a detailed timeline for the day, employing the help of their loved ones to keep her in the dark. When he approached her in a park and got down on one knee, Meghan was caught entirely off-guard in the best way possible! After she said yes, their friends and family members popped out from the bushes to celebrate over dinner. A life-long lover of neutrals, Meghan knew she wanted a classic black-and-white wedding with pops of gold and greenery throughout. Upon first sight of the 1920's Icehouse venue, the couple fell in love with the industrial architecture and moody vibes of the downtown property.
