New York residents Kim and Tom flew out to Sonoma last September to begin their search for a wedding venue. They wanted to have a California summer wedding, allowing their friends and family to experience Sonoma for the first time.
The couple had five appointments throughout their visit, but none of them felt like a fit. Before the couple headed to the airport to fly back to NY, Tom suggested they stop by Chateau St. Jean, even though they knew it was a tad out of our price range. As soon as they got out of the car, Kim looked at Tom and said, "Well, we have to get married here!" And that was how they chose their wedding venue. In place of a traditional wedding cake, Kim and Tom sliced into A single William Greenberg cookie cake. Also served, were black and white cookies resembling their cake which were from the same Bakery in New York. Guests were also treated with a Gelato station that served Honey Lavender, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Hazelnut. A fun, yet easy, dessert idea for you brides looking for a little something different.
