Perfect Accessories For A Florida Wedding: Flamingos & Pineapples
This super fun wedding has us so glad that summer is right around the corner! This couple's journey took them from tinder to saying "I do", and we imagine they had a blast along the away. Every detail of thier day is fab, fun and brightly colored!
Perfect accessories for a Florida wedding: flamingos & pineapples. The proof couldn't be prettier! If you reach the end of this post and still need some more pink flamingos in your life you'll find plenty more in the full gallery, photographed by Sarahdipity Photography!
A Love Story That Started On Tinder With Cake
From the bride: We met on Tinder in June 2014, Engaged in Cancun April 2015, Married October 15, 2016. It was a weekend filled with confetti, flamingos, and hotdogs for dinner (if you wanted). Both of us are originally from New Jersey but did not meet until we were both living in Florida (Shaina in Gainesville, Brandon in Jacksonville). He swiped right because I was holding cake in two of my pictures!
Pineapples, Flamingos, & A Custom Wedding Hashtag
The groom and groomsmen wore flip flops to go along with the Beach Club. Pineapples and flamingos galore! Mini pineapples were in the men's flowers and in the brides florals. CHEERS became a big thing as our hashtag was #cheerstothemcaleers.
Special Wedding Mementos From A Very Special Person
Our rings were held in a Polly Pocket that my grandmother had given to me when I was a little girl (I still have the whole collection). It is the chapel. Unfortunately she is passed away and unable to be there. Also, I had my magic hanky that she gave me that was given to be worn on my baptism and carried for my wedding day.
A Weekend Full Of Fun, Family, Friends & Flamingos
Friday night they held a "Fiance Fiesta" at a local beach bar to welcome all of their guests to Florida as mostly everyone was from out of state. October 15 was an extra special date for Shaina as it is her sorority founders day (see all the pictures with the sorority flag) The McCheer was the signature drink and it kept all of their guests dancing all night along with the light up tambourines.
