Amongst the warmth and beauty of late summer, Dale and Tim said "I do" in Colorado Wine Country, Grand Junction. A peach color palette was perfect for the season. Gorgeous florals from 3 Leaf Floral, a lovely reception area at Canyon View Vineyard, and a lot of DIY work from the bride, ensured that the day was a success from start to finish.

Dale is a graphic designer who designed all of the beautiful printed materials and lettering for signage for the wedding. Tim is a pastor at the church where they were married. He is a singer/songwriter, and wrote and played a special song for Dale at the ceremony.
From the Bride:I went to art school, so I have more power-tool knowledge than your average bride! I built all of the wooden boxes for the tables out of fence posts, painted gold stripes on ivory burlap for table runners, strung silk flowers on quilting thread for the floral curtain, etc.
Other than that, I think the only thing I wish I would have done differently is to have some more knowledge on how the actual day should have gone down. I.E. who is going to clean up, etc? I had all of the creative vision to see what the day would look like, just not the know-how to see it run smoothly. I'm sure that is why most people hire a wedding planner... whoops!
