Coming from different cultures, Emmy and Nason decided to have three different ceremonies to incorporate the different customs. Their busy day began with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony, then the main ceremony at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church and ended with a traditional Persian ceremony at the University Club at UC Irvine, which was immediately followed by their fabulous reception.
There are so many aspects to this wedding so make sure you don't miss any of the details Christine Choi Photography was able to capture of this peach and teal multicultural wedding by visiting the full gallery here!
From the Christine Choi Photography:The main ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Spirit Catholic Church with all of the invited guests. Then it was off to the fun-filled reception at the University Club at UC Irvine, which was also the site for the traditional Persian ceremony for the groom's side.
The University Club was where they first met and holds special significance for the couple. Emmy's color scheme consisted of light pastels with touches of vibrant jewel tones in teal blue, magenta and marigold. The flowers were designed by Shelby Nolan of Green Leaf Designs, who did an amazing job incorporating the color scheme and creating a carefree romantic atmosphere that was also elegant and refined. Emmy and Nason wanted to celebrate their love as well honoring their cultures, and their wedding day was truly a reflection of that — the coming together of two amazing people in love!
Emmy and Nason put together a "Self-Serve Photobooth" with a table full of accessories and a white sheet for a backdrop. The table included hats, glasses and mustaches along with chalk and small chalkboards for their guests to write messages on — such a simple way to create so much fun!
