Nervous Wedding Jitters

From the Bride: Our wedding at the Burbank Equestrian Center was the most frightening yet exciting day of my life. It all happened so quickly and was such a blur, but I definitely remember having a great time throughout.

For the ceremony, I especially loved the horse-drawn carriage. I was hesitant about it at first, but my dad insisted on having it, and we both ended up loving it. It truly was a spectacular entrance and exit, and since it was outdoors, of course we had to include our dog Oski in the ceremony.

Keep It Simple

If I had to change one thing I'd probably be a little more frugal. Our venue didn't allow outside food vendors, so my husband and I decided to add on a mini-doughnut station and cappuccino bar, which through the venue, was 2-3 times the normal cost. In reality though, everyone was stuffed from dinner and drinks that the extra stations were unnecessary.

Live Music Bonus

During the reception, we hired a live band and I must say that this was the best decision we made. They were so energetic and kept the energy flowing the whole night. My favorite moment of the night was when the band played the last song – Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” – and called my husband and me up on stage to sing to our family and friends. It was so surreal and ended the night perfectly.
