Timeless Chateau Wedding in Provence with the Prettiest Pink Flowers
Soft and Romantic Wedding Ideas Set in The Heart of Provence
Chateau Martinay, nestled in the heart of Provence, recently served as the backdrop for an absolutely enchanting wedding styled shoot. With its lush gardens, cypress-lined walkways, and elegant architecture, this historic venue perfectly captured the essence of French romance and elegance.
This shoot was designed to be a true homage to the beauty and romance of Provence. The combination of exquisite floral arrangements by La Blonde et le Barbu, historic architecture, and natural light created the perfect atmosphere to celebrate love.
We chose to highlight a beautiful cocktail bar, with the stunning facade of the castle as the backdrop. We also aimed to create a charming setting for the welcome dinner, in a more relaxed atmosphere, perfectly in tune with the gentle Provençal evenings.
This is France, so the bar was set pretty high for the fashion, and this shoot did not disappoint. The bride stunned in a lovely lace gown by Igilles. The thigh-high slit and open back added an element of sexiness to this elegant affair. The groom wore a classic black tuxedo with a matching black bow tie.
We simply cannot get over this ceremony setup. First–these floral arrangements! This seriously looks like something out of a fairytale. It reads neutral without giving up on color completely. And the cane-back chairs were the perfect country touch.
Keeping with the pastel theme, a blue floral-printed tablecloth set the tone for the al fresco reception. Peach and ivory flower arrangements served as the centerpieces and the food was art in and of itself.
A simple yet elegant four-tiered wedding cake was the dessert for the evening. It was lovingly displayed with an assortment of live flowers on a blue printed tablecloth to match the rest of the reception.
