There are countless ways to say, "I do" in Paris, but this elopement cruise down the Seine may just take the [wedding] cake! Seriously, why settle for one iconic backdrop when you could have them all–the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, The Louvre, Grand Palais, and Petit Palais! Plus, how romantic?! Just the two of you (and your photographer, of course) the breeze coming off the river, surrounded by the sights of the city, a sunset perhaps, and then the twinkle of the lights as they dance on the water–this stunning shoot is literally what dreams are made of!
Elisa of Romance Wedding Paris used her expert eye to organize this lovely shoot. Working with Atelier Mimoza, they took inspiration from the blue of the water and the soft breeze to create these dreamy floral arrangements. The bride and groom (a real-life couple) leisurely dressed and took in the moments before they set sail at La Demeure Montaigne, where they later returned to celebrate. Elizaveta Photography was there every step of the way and captured the movement and the magic in every photo! A Romantic Parisian Elopement That Almost Didn’t Happen
Parisian Elopement With A View
The bride was wearing a flowing Berta dress and Kristy Li Makeup enhanced her natural beauty with a soft makeup look and loose waves in the hotel, followed by a low bun on the boat, adorned with accessories by Lena Rom. Her flowing bridal gown from Berta was both romantic and stylish with a daring slit on the side to show off those legs (and shoes from Bella Belle).
Organized by Elisa of Romance Wedding Paris, this shoot took inspiration from the shimmering blue water and the soft breeze of the river and infused those elements in the florals, gown, and especially the cake! The couple celebrated with a custom cake from Mon Sukre, which echoed the waves of the Seine River.
Soft pastel blooms by Hélène of Atelier Mimoza in blue, pink, yellow, and cream, adorned the boat and matched the bride’s bouquet. An important tip for couples–the florals need to be well attached in order to stay in place during the cruise.
This stylish Parisian editorial is sure to delight couples looking for an intimate elopement that also want to get an unusual view of the City of Lights from the Seine River! Captured by Elizaveta Photography and filmed by Oryx Paris Videographer, this editorial featured a real couple at the prestigious La Demeure Montaigne in the heart of Paris.
The happy couple exchanged vows on the river bank with the help of Lionel MC officiating. The river and the lush green surroundings made the perfect backdrop!
After the ceremony, the two retreated back to La Demeure Montaigne where the bride let her hair down and they shared a celebratory glass of champagne and some of that gorgeous cake. A delicious end to the perfect Parisian day.
