First and foremost- great couples make for great weddings. But can a great wedding party be put together in just 5 weeks? Yes it can, with the right team! As a personal friend to the couple, Angela (their coordinator with Perfectly Bubbly Events) was ecstatic when Krystle and Trumaine decided to finally tie the knot. But as a professional planner, she also knew they had a lot of work to do, and only five weeks to do it. Check out the full gallery to see all of the incredible photos of Krystle and Trumaine's day at Sunol's Casa Bella by Angela Sue Photography, including florals by Flower Story. And make sure to scroll down to hear more from the coordinator herself, as well as the bride, as they reflect back on this beautiful day!
With such a short amount of time to get ready, finding the right vendors for this event was essential. Not only did they need a certain level of experience from their vendor team to accomplish the task, they needed a team with great chemistry. Fortunately in Avengers-like fashion, they found a team of “super-vendors” willing and able to save the date and volunteer their time and talents to give K&T the wedding of their dreams. The venue and staff were spectacular hosts. The florist - Flower Story - brought the ceremony and reception spaces to life with her outstanding arrangements. The videographer (Eight Count Edits) and photographer teams (Angela Sue Photography) artfully captured all of the couple’s precious moments. And the DJ squad from Ace Entertainment made sure this wedding party was one the couple, and their guests, would remember for a long, long time. They even somehow created an environment that made the first dance feel like the couple was waltzing on a cloud!
1. Get a wedding planner! "As the saying goes, “ It takes a village to raise a family”- and the same goes for planning a wedding. It takes a village to plan a wedding and finding the right planner with the right ‘village’ of vendors is necessary. Whether it’s having a planner from start to finish or ‘day of coordinator’ and everything in between, having a professional working with you is essential. I’ve always been the assigned planner in my family. It wasn’t until my own wedding that I embraced the thought of accepting help. It was then I realized how important having a professional planner in my corner was. For most couples, taking the first steps in planning can be stressful enough. Planners are not just there to tie up all the loose ends to make the day run smoother, they are the guidance and best resource to elevate the magic of your wedding experience."
2. Trust the Professionals! "My husband and I were fortunate to have the professional guidance of Angela Garcia from Perfectly Bubbly Events as our wedding planner for ‘full service’ planning. She listened to our overall vision and from there she knew exactly the best vendors that would be a perfect fit for our special day. She enlisted the help of Angela Sue from Angela Sue Photography, Rommel from Eight Count Edits , Rob Tinoco from Ace Entertainment, and Kim Wakatsuki from Flower Story Gal. Their talent and professionalism, mixed with their heart and compassion formulated a magical chemistry that was unlike any wedding I’ve ever been to and it was all because we trusted them. We trusted their opinion. We trusted their vision. We trusted them to make the right decisions. Even if it was difficult for me to take a backseat in planning, the entire team knew what they were doing and we felt at ease with that. Most planners still require couples to still take a major role in the day to day decisions, but what I have learned through this process- trust your professionals and the guidance they provide."
3. Let It Go and Enjoy! "When the wedding day is finally here - the culmination of the blood, sweat and tears you've put into planning - reflecting on every small detail and all the possible things that can go wrong during the wedding will set the stage for an anxiety filled wedding day. Let it all go on the wedding day and don’t sweat the small details. Accept the fact that whatever happens, happens and take in every magical moment- it will go by very quickly! Surrendering your worries is hard, but that is where the professionals come in. It is their goal to make everything run smoothly and to ensure the couple remembers the night. Take time as a couple to enjoy the details of the night. Have a private viewing of the reception room before guests enter, partake in appetizers and cocktail hour with guests, have an organized list for the photographer for the family photos, eat and enjoy your dinner, and dance as a couple for more than just your first dance. Take every minute in and know that the evening is for you and your spouse. Trust your professional vendors to worry about everything else!
