Old Fashion Wedding Ideas By Christine Olson Photography

Newlyweds holding photos from their wedding day

Lets start your Monday off with some old fashion Love from Christine Olson Photography and the wedding of April and Daren. Married in Alpine, Utah at the Mount Timpanogos Temple in early August.
April wanted to share with all of you that this wedding was on an incredible budget. So much so that she is pretty sure she could write a book on how to make your wedding inexpensive yet tasteful. Read on, for April shared with us where she found pretty much everything.
Let us start off April's custom dress, which was designed by April and created by her cousin, Brooke Hardy 951.677.8776. The fabric was bought at the L.A fashion district. The dainty Broach on April's dress was  found in an old button jar and ta-daa you have got a vintage broach.

On to the cuff links, which are Personalized Typewriter Key Cuff links. Pick Your Own Keys! An, "A" for April and, A, "D" for Daren! Love it! They are made from pieces of wood that look like vintage typewriter keys. Pick your own keys including letters, numbers, and so on for $9.95. What a great price, of course over at Etsy. April's floral headpiece was purchased over at www.beautifullymodest.com. The Jewelry was purchased over at Lia Sophia Fashion Jewelry. April did her own makeup and the her hair was done by her sister.

April's backseam tights where purchased at Nordstrom. The checkered shoes are from Forever Young Shoes and April's formal shoes and all of her bridesmaid shoes are from Payless.

Wedding polaroids and bride holding orange flower bouquet

The flowers are from Flower Patch and the bouquets were made by friend, Megan Seawright of The Flower Girl.

Sepia toned vintage wedding collage with car and couple

1939 Model A has been in April's family since the 1950's and naturally April and Daren wanted it to be their get away car. Daren had a short lesson on how to drive it and off they went. The car went along with thier whole Old Fashion look and feel quite perfectly, don't you think.

Another great idea is the wedding ice cream bar with actual old fashion ice cream scoopers serviing you up. Perfect for warm August afternoon. April and Daren had BUY Creamery come out and serve their guests vanilla ice cream with all the fixinings. Hot fudge, caramel, peach, strawberry, pineapple, whipped cream, maraschino cherry, and nuts. Sounds perfect to me. $2.65 per a person.
They also served cool and refreshing Lemonade and flavor shots.

The story beind all the utterly adorable polaroids. Well... April is a photographer and fell in love with polaroid when she was a young girl. Daren and April have taken most of their pictures together with instant polaroid film.
They where so so depressed that Polaroid is no longer making the film anymore. So naturally they wanted their whole wedding done with polaroid but it was not that logical. So they compremised and did half and half. I personally think it turned out stunning. Thank you so much Christine for sharing this utterly adorable wedding.
