Oceanside Shabby Chic Wedding in Italy
Oh my PRETTY! Giulia and Michelle's shabby chic wedding is totally romantic and filled with breathtaking views of the Scopello coast line. Yes, we hold a special place in our hearts for oceanside weddings, and this wedding in Italy is one of the many reasons why.

Intimate wedding
The intimate and remote location of the old fisherman's village was the perfect fit because it was away from the hassle of the city, and was the perfect setting for their shabby chic wedding: a small reception, with the fondest friends and relatives, only few of us in the stunning scenario of the gulf of Scopello.
Non-traditional guestbook
Instead of the traditional guestbook, we created a corner with multiple travel guides and invited guests to open them randomly and write comments. They could write on a map or on the sea or close to the destination they preferred most. All those travel guides were about our future planned trips. As the couple travel in those places we will find memories of our wedding.
Great thank you card idea
Instead of sending out a pic of the couple for a thank you card, the couple chose authentic post cards from Scopello! More than 60 postcards were put in a box with their stamps where they asked guests to fill them with their addresses. During the honeymoon the couple wrote a personal message on each postcards and placed them in the mail.
Feel Free to Negotiate
From the bride: Regarding the organization there was only one struggling point that was catering related. The location had their recommended catering but we were looking for something very different. We had to negotiate a lot but at the end we won and we used our preferred one. My tip to the future brides is to not stop at the first "no" from the location, it's your day, you have the rights to choose who you prefer!
