It's good people who make good places... Perry Vaile Photography would certainly agree with this idea. She knew she was in for a lively and joyful day as she was welcomed into the warmth of this December wedding by the bride's beautiful laughter echoing throughout the Historic Brookstown Inn.

From Leigh Pearce Weddings:Jamie has the most amazing, infectious laugh. I knew the moment I heard that laugh and met Jamie’s fiancé (now husband!!), Brandon, that this was going to be one awesome day. Perry Vaile Photography truly captured every sweet moment. I love that every time I see her images of Jamie and Brandon, it immediately takes me back to their day in the most perfect way.
We planned an intimate, traditional ceremony at the beautiful St. Phillips Moravian Church at Old Salem in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It was very important to Jamie and Brandon that the focus of their ceremony be on their marriage and their relationship with God.
The reception was such a great party with seriously tasty menu from Holly Tate Fine Catering (hello, Mexican food station!) and several jam sessions from Brandon and his musically inclined friends. Jamie loves Old Williamsburg at Christmas time soAmy Lynne Originals was able to incorporate fresh fruit and seasonal greenery in our floral design.
Jamie and Brandon are both true lovers of vintage and handmade pieces and it really reflected in their day. From Jamie’s fabulous bouffant-esque updo to their 150 year old ceremony location, to the cross stitch Mr. and Mrs. signs, and also Jamie’s grandmother's salt and pepper shakers turned cake toppers; Every detail was just SO Jamie and Brandon. All of the details effortlessly blended together. Designed beautifully by Leigh Pearce Weddings.
A few other steal worthy ideas you should take note of are the custom coozies for guests to keep the beverages cool, and the hot chocolate bar below to keep the non-beer drinkers warm. Super simple idea, and so easy to spruce up. Add peppermints and marshmallows to your coffee/hot cocoa station for a bonus treat. We also adore the baby it's cold outside coffee sleeves. So cute, right?
