When Ali and Devon first saw the design for their pampas grass exploded centerpieces, they fell in love. They asked their vendor team to create an entire wedding design around those centerpieces and we're absolutely in love! This neutral beach wedding was understated in color alone, but everywhere that they could, this team added a punch of glam from the disco balls accents and neon signage to the couple's killer designer ensembles. The result is a wedding that is very much at home on the beach but could easily be in a five-star ballroom as well. 

Amy Abbott Events was the genius behind this stunning wedding at Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort, which is the perfect combo of elegance and beachy-chic. Aria Vera Floral focused on dried florals to create voluminous arrangements to match the vibe of the pampas grass centerpieces that the couple loved so much. By Julieta followed the couple from getting ready to dancing the night away and captured every special moment in between. SOAK IT UP

I always told Devon how much I loved Cabo and the Hilton Los Cabos Beach & Golf Resort. I always told him it was my “happy place”! I knew I wanted to take him there, so I booked us a trip to Cabo for April 2021 and gave it to him as a Christmas gift. Little did I know we would be engaged on that trip. We quickly reached out to Amy Abbott Events prior to our trip and ended up meeting with Lauren while we were there, and the rest was history! We knew we wanted our wedding week to feel like a vacation and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family and friends and we knew the Hilton would check all those boxes. Now we both call it our “happy place”. Your wedding weekend is something that only happens once. Devon and I made it a point to soak up and enjoy EVERYTHING from the second we started planning our wedding weekend with Lauren up until the last song ended at our reception. It all goes by so fast and having someone like Lauren guide us and help us every step of the way made everything all worth it.

ROMANTIC NEUTRALS

We chose to stick with a very neutral color scheme, it totally fit our overall style. We loved the pampas grass centerpiece idea and the second we saw them set up at the Del Cabo Event Design showroom we fell in love. We did half of our tables with the pampas grass centerpieces and the other half was filled with candles and flower petals. The candles gave off such a romantic, intimate vibe! We had a large clear acrylic wall with everyone’s names and assigned table numbers. At the bottom of the wall, there were beautifully lit candles, pampas grass, and a large disco ball.

EVERYBODY ON THE DANCE FLOOR

We had our bridal party enter the reception as one big group to the song “Bring Em Out” by T.I.–that definitely got the party started! With our bridal party on the dance floor, Devon and I made our entrance to the song “Good Life” by Kanye West. As one big group, we danced and sang. It was a party the second it started. The DJ then asked all of our guests to join us on the dance floor where we kept the party going for two more songs. We can honestly say the whole entrance and start of the reception set the tone for the rest of the night. We had a full dance floor until the last song, it was exactly what we always dreamed of!
