Need Some Bold Color Inspo For Your Big Day? This Wedding Can Help!
Need some bold color inspo for your big day? This wedding can help! We can not get enough of the deep burgundy found in all the floral decor, the bridesmaid dresses and crushed velvet linens. But then you put all of that in a rustic mountain setting at sunset where the setting sun paints the whole landscape in a glowing neon orange, the whole scene seems to light on fire and turn ordinary into pure magic! Chills my friends, actual goosebump inducing chills.
In need of more details, well of course you are! You can find every last bit of this wedding day in the full gallery, thanks to the photography talents of Josh Elliot.
Be Thoughtful With Your Ceremony
From the Bride: Matt's father, Bill, offered us some stellar advice - be thoughtful with your ceremony. We did exactly that. The ceremony reflected who we are as a couple, and honored the people who have influenced us throughout our lives. We were very lucky and grateful to have the inclusion of Fr. Jack Treacy in our wedding preparations and in our marriage service. Ultimately, we thought about things that were meaningful to us and made sure to find a place for them on our special day. Being outdoors at our magical, woodsy venue, The HideOut, was one of those things.
We wanted to make sure we took care of our guests and made sure they had a wonderful experience at our wedding. Every decision we made had our family and friends in mind
Their Love Story
Matt was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, went to college at UC Davis, and has been working in software sales in San Francisco for 6 years. Caitlin was born in Illinois, lived most her life in California, and went to college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. By sheer serendipity, the two ended up working at Salesforce and, as it turned out, Caitlin was promoted to Matt’s sales team in September 2012.Timing has a lot to do with everything - they weren’t ready for each other right away, but 7 months later Matt asked Caitlin on a date. They quickly found out how much they had in common and that everything they loved, quite simply, was better when they were together. Most importantly, they shared a love for sports, pizza, and puppies. The two of them had found someone whose weirdness was compatible with their own, so Matt popped the question! Cate said yes!
Chemistry is Key
Our planning process started by hiring All Set to help us finesse the details. Chemistry was key when selecting our vendors. We wanted to make sure that each vendor was the right fit for us personally and style. My hubby and I were fortunate enough to find our dream team thanks to the guidance of All Set and our friends that are now happily married.
My husband Matt, spent the year leading up to our wedding thoughtfully creating a music playlist that captured the spirit of our love. This playlist carried us through each of the magic moments of the wedding and something Matt and I still love listening to on long car rides.
