Navy and Gray New England Wedding
Alright, we have all wished we could have our very own parade, but this wedding took that dream and made it a reality. Native New Yorkers, Greg and Christine decided they wanted to make their presence known in the small Vermont town where they tied the knot. After a gorgeous chapel wedding they led their guests on a celebratory march through town to the Woodstock Inn and Resort where laughter and dancing ensued.
This wedding wasn't just entertaining but also beautifully simple. From actual blueberries mixed in with the flowers to maple syrup wedding favors, this navy and gray wedding was bursting with New England charm. From Dreamlove Wedding Photography:The covered bridge across from the Woodstock Inn was the perfect place for their first look and bridal party photos… and Danika with Blomma Flicka flowers did an amazing job with Christine’s bouquet and the centerpieces at the reception.
Christine had very few requests on her wedding day, but one was that the flowers incorporate fresh blueberry sprigs. They looked gorgeous, and not to mention, delicious!
Christine and Greg tied the knot at a local Universalist chapel, just a short walk from where their reception was held at the Woodstock Inn. These two, who made the trek up to VT from Brooklyn, NY seemed to fit right in with the locals.
After their ceremony, Christine and Greg decided to spice up the walk from the chapel back to the reception a by handing guests music makers, and having a parade through town. They couldn’t have picked a more energetic and spirited duo to lead them on their parade… those girls had more energy than we do after four espressos!
Situated in the middle of the prettiest small town in America, weddings at the Woodstock Inn & Resort are assured to be everything you dreamed. Christine and Greg's beautiful reception was in the airy terrace rooms, but there are also some swoon worthy garden spaces.
Instead of table numbers, Christine named the tables after locations that held special meaning for her and Greg. At each place setting was a cute little bottle of maple syrup that guests were sent home with as gifts. So sweet!
Dressing up your sweetheart table is always a good idea! It let's your guests know you are the King and Queen of the ball.
