When you have your dream venue already picked out, the rest of the details tend to fall into place seamlessly. Kelsey and Thomas knew The Dallas Arboretum in Texas was the only place they wanted to host their mid-spring nuptials. With the help of Chancey Charm Dallas, their whimsical garden party wedding was totally flawless!
The bride chose a bold color palette of burgundy, navy, blush, and gold with a bohemian garden party aesthetic. From her gorgeous dress to the stunning wedding cake, everything came together beautifully for under $50k. From Chancey Charm Dallas: From the moment Kelsey reached out about her wedding, more than one year before the big day, it was obvious the sweetness the bride and groom shared for one another. Kelsey and Thomas were really looking to celebrate their love in a beautiful way without skipping any details. Throughout the whole planning process, they effortlessly navigated any issues that inevitably pop-up and were so enamored with one another! When you talk about dream clients, this is it! Kelsey had a vision for a slightly whimsical and boho version of a garden party. We wanted lush florals to bring out the deep colors of her palette and the gold accents to make the night shimmer.
The ceremony arrangements, accented by boho rugs from Beautiful Event Rentals, created this intimate, mid-spring's night dream. Ellen Ashton, Kelsey and Thomas's photographer, was truly spectacular. After a slight change in the vendor team, she was able to sweep in on her white horse to take charge of capturing this beautiful day perfectly for the sweet couple. Her eye for the details and ability to bring love through to film allowed Kelsey and Thomas to have lifelong mementos of their best day.
The Dallas Arboretum was the only place Kelsey and Thomas dreamed of hosting their wedding. The intricate gardens full of colorful blooms were just starting to show their spring flourish bringing Texas out of its brown winter. Root + Bloom Floral Design knocked it out of the park with capturing the fun twist on the navy, burgundy, blush and gold color palette and making it truly a spring aesthetic. By mixing wood, gold and concrete vessels Jessica Huston grounded the femininity of the palette and allowed for the eye to dance around the visual textures. Every bloom was expertly placed and our couple could not have been happier with how the florals transformed the reception ballroom by bringing the garden inside.
A showstopper of the night came from Creme de la Creme Cake Company's stunning wedding and groom's cakes. The towering bridal cake with gold metallic accents, lush blooms, and deep hues dropped guests's jaws when they saw it and had their eyes light up with they tasted it! Thomas wanted to show off his alma mater, Texas Tech University, through chocolate dreaminess! A fun new tradition the newlyweds are partaking in is enjoying one of twelve slices of their cake's top tier one month at a time on the 24th day. A sweet way to enjoy the first year of marriage and celebrate the little things in life! And we have to mention the larger than life donut wall featuring Hypnotic Donuts' melt-in-your mouth donuts!!
