From the Bride: We wanted as much as possible of our wedding to be hand-crafted and up cycled. From collecting vintage items to crafting the decor, to styling the tables, we wanted our wedding to reflect our own taste and aesthetic while feeling cozy and intimate.
We re-purposed a lot of items from our own home and turned them into decor for the wedding (old window sashes, shutters, frames, mirrors, etc.) The best compliments we got were that the wedding was so "us"!

In an effort to make our wedding as "us" as possible, we wanted to have a hand in every part of the planning and designing; and since we chose not to have any bridesmaids or groomsmen, it ended up being a lot of work! We loved every minute of it, but looking back we should have delegated more tasks to our family and friends who were offering their help. It definitely would have made the process a little less stressful!
We are so grateful for the help we did get from our families in crafting our decor, to our friends and family who baked the most amazing desserts for our dessert bar and to all of our friends who helped us with set-up and break-down
