The beautiful Virginia Mountains made the most stunning backdrop for this next wedding at the picturesque Early Mountain Vineyards. Elias and Anna’s outdoor fall wedding featured several cozy details we love, including a smores station and a milk and cookie toast! Awww!
The bride definitely stole the show with her jaw dropping Theia Couture gown that weighed an incredible 20 lbs! Talk about bead work! Grab a closer look of her gown and all the other pretty details when you stop by the full gallery for more images from the talented Stephanie Messick Photography.
From the bride: Fast forward a couple of years, we had moved to Annapolis, MD and signed up for the Marine Corps Marathon together. Little did I know, this would be the most memorable race of my life! After 26.1 miles Elias faked a cramp in front of his family in the crowd (and my dad- Surprise!) and got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course I said yes and after a few quick hugs from family and friends, Elias and I finished the last .1 miles of the marathon, hand-in-hand.
When we started looking for a wedding venue, we knew we wanted to be married outside in the Fall, with views of the Virginia Mountains in the background. We made an extensive list of places-- Early Mountain was the first place we visited, and it took our breath away. Its stunning views and landscape, paired with gorgeous reception space (complete with the two biggest fireplaces I've ever seen) stole our hearts and sealed our choice. We had to get married here.
It was really wonderful to feel everyone's presence all evening. To keep things close and cozy, we decided to do a milk and cookie toast in lieu of a champagne toast before our cake-cutting and we had a fire on the patio for guests to roast marshmallows and make s’mores. The Harvest Moon that rose up in the sky made for the most beautiful and twinkling evening. I can’t imagine a more perfect day!
