From Cedarwood Weddings:Candi is an interior design student, and we enjoyed collaborating with her to create an organic, elegant ceremony and reception that would feel like an “elaborate backyard barbecue.” Al fresco dining with rustic-luxe farm tables and french bistro chairs, fresh lavender, herbs, flowers , live music and lots of romantic lighting kicked the celebration into southern high-style.

From the Bride:I definitely wanted to feel like I had a few things that made it more personalized so my grandmother gave me her vintage hanky collections to use for the guest’s “Happy Tears.” I was very hands off and let the design team work their magic.

Our favorite moments were seeing how everything had finally come together. It was more amazing and stunning than we ever thought possible. We waited for what seemed like forever for this day to come, and it sneaks up on you. It felt so great to finally get to celebrate the union of us becoming husband and wife.

Cedarwood fit our style in the regards that the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. I wanted our wedding to be intimate and relaxing but also elegant and something that reflected our style and personality. The thing that inspired me most about Cedarwood was that it offered opportunities for so many different style options. The property is already amazing , a blank canvas that is already the most perfect back drop and a dream atmosphere.

I knew that putting our special day in someone else’s hands was never going to be easy, but with this design team, I knew I was in good hands. I’m an Interior Designer so this is kind of up my alley, but these ladies blew me away! I couldn’t have done a better job myself.

When I stumbled upon Cedarwood, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was everything I had envisioned for our wedding to be, Rustic, Charming, Elegant, and Romantic. The place is even more magical than you can imagine, it is truly enchanting.

A good love story is good for the soul. And Candi and Christopher have one that inspires anyone looking for their soul mate. Colorado native Candi moved to California for 8 years of disappointing relationships before moving back home in 2011, shaken in her judgement to find the love and life she yearned for. Then, as Candi confirms, Christopher ‘found her” as she waited for a job interview in his office building. Christopher says he can still remember making eye contact with Candi while nervously walking back and forth across the lobby stealing glances and trying to work up the courage to introduce himself. Christopher says that was the first time Candi gave him butterflies, and that was before they had even met. The butterflies have not stopped for Christopher or Candi.
