I've written three articles you may or may not be interested in using. I've included the first one with a focus on styling as this best encompassed the shoot, however, I do also have one focussed on new season dress trends and another on how to include your pet in your wedding day. Feel free to contact me if either is of interest to you.
How to Nail Not-Quite-Neutral
Minimalist colour palettes are the hottest trend in bridal right now and it can be hard to find your own style within a well-trod theme. Here we’ll take you through how you can work some neutral magic in a not-so-neutral way!
We often find that the trick is finding the perfect blend of tones and textures to complement your colour scheme. Neutral needn’t be all beige and vanilla, there is no limit to what can be achieved with a set of tonal colours and a pop of interest.
This shoot features gorgeous ivory and sand tones in soft linens by Prop it Pretty blending perfectly with the luxe, breezy boathouse vibes of Mooloolaba’s coolest wedding venue, Pier 33. Each setting is completed with a fine and elegant menu by Peach Perfect Stationary as well as a delicious individual macaron for a hint of personality and sweetness. Lashes of pale peachy pink and soft greens liven the mood and add a touch of romance to an otherwise minimalist colour palette. This feeling of warmth has been brought into the makeup look by Boudoir Blush Beauty and Makeup, with a warm, understated and romantic combination of peach, blush and bronze dashed on the lips, cheeks and eyes. The hair is glamorously curled to frame the face in a chic, no-fuss down do by expert stylists, Rolling Scissors.
The real elevation of this minimalist magic, however, comes from a stunning combination of florals artfully crafted by The Orange Blossom. The sharpness of baby’s breath and unfurled roses paired against softly draped linens creates a feeling of balance and lightness.
And if you’re wondering how to tie your man’s suit into a this luxe neutral theme without reaching for a traditional black of navy suit, why not take a leaf out of the book of bespoke tailors, Wil Valor? A deep olive green jacket paired with pale pants and matching floral boutonnière create interest and intrigue in a beautifully unexpected way, all while subtly working in with the green undertones throughout the floral arrangements.
