Chic Timeless Wedding with Fun Personalized Touches
It all started with a chance encounter and a camel ride that would change the course of their lives forever. When Jason and Gabby decided to tie the knot, they knew that they wanted to keep the design timeless. They wanted to be able to look back and still love all of the little details. But this chic design didn't stop them from incorporating fun elements that give a little wink to their love story, from their camel escort cards to the band that was named after their favorite sitcom. If you're searching for some classic wedding inspiration or some fun custom ideas, you need to see this wedding. Plus there's a Pomeranian in a tux that you won't want to miss!
Kim Newton Weddings designed this beautiful wedding and looked to Sophie Felts to create these unique floral arrangements. The beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows of the Fairmont Washington created the perfect atmosphere for this airy gilded wedding. La Vie En Rose took these lovely photos that capture all the love between this lucky couple. Keep reading to hear more from the bride, Gabby!
IN THE STARS
Jason and Gabby first met during college on a Birthright trip to Israel back in 2011. Jason was one of the only trip participants who wasn't a student at Gabby's alma mater, George Washington University (and one of the only boys on the trip), so naturally, they became fast friends. They sat next to each other on all the bus rides and even rode a camel together (a detail that shows up in a fun way on their wedding day)! Their wedding was all about modern chicness meets traditional glamour. They opted for all white florals for a clean, airy feel with gilded touches throughout like 24k gold foil on their wedding cake to gold flatware all basking in a ton of candlelight provided by candelabra centerpieces and custom uplighting.

SOME ADVICE
FROM THE HAPPY COUPLE
1. Be yourselves and make decisions on what is important to you. We really wanted our wedding to feel like us even if that meant doing things that seemed different or not how it is usually done. Don't be afraid to be authentic and do what feels right.
2. Celebrate the little wins! Crack open that champagne after you find your dress or book that vendor, it's a marathon, and having fun along the way helps.
3. Say no. A lot. Whether it is to a guest who makes a request you aren't comfortable with. Or to pressures to do something that isn't how you envisioned. It is ok to say, "No" with grace. It is a day all about you and your partner. No one else. View All Images
