Audra and Andrew’s wedding in the heart of the Hudson Valley embraced a clean and earthy aesthetic to highlight the stunning natural surroundings - with inclusivity and sustainability at the heart of their planning. The celebration was hosted at the Old Mill Guest House at Audrey's Farmhouse. The updated 19th-century farmhouse venue provided acres of old-growth trees as an organic backdrop for their modern vision.

Bride, Audra, wore an effortless Kelly Faetanini chiffon gown with a plunging neckline and an ethereal skirt adorned with a simple crystal belt at the waistline. Making her look even more captivating, she wore a tulle cape with delicate floral lace at the hem, which floated behind her as it attached to her gown at the shoulders.
Her soft, blonde waves were styled by Styles on B, while Bridal by Alexandria provided a timeless and bright makeup look to pair with her dreamy gown!
The couple's charming outdoor ceremony was held near a forested area of the Old Mill Guest House property. Wooden benches and an aisle lined with vibrant florals by Simplicity in Mind led to an altar created from two floral pillars. Earthy orange chrysanthemums, brown roses, peachy carnations, and mauve-toned sweet peas made for a happy, washed-out color story!
A key element for the couple was embracing inclusivity and sustainability in their planning and design with Christofora Events. This included creating accessibility for guests, whether that meant they designed special menus for their low-vision guests or financed accommodations for others to relieve any financial burden. The couple was also delighted to create custom soaps as zero-waste wedding favors. Embracing sustainability and a minimalist approach to decor meant that the venue and its lush outdoor spaces were able to remain the focal point.

The couple took enchanted photos together with Amy Sims Photography along the forested property as they were greeted by New York’s blooming wildflowers.
We love this reception sign that told the couple's love story! The minimalist design and modern font was seen throughout the entire day's paper goods.
"Audra and Andrew first met in middle school, becoming best friends after many years of shared classes, card games, and splitting headphones on bus rides. After their high school graduation, the two admitted they had more than just a friendship. However, they were both about to go their separate ways for college. The couple spent four years together dating long-distance. After graduation, they both moved to NYC together to begin their first full-time jobs. Andrew proposed to Audra at Little Island Park in Manhattan, overlooking the Hudson River. Audra “reciproposed” to Andrew a few weeks later by setting up a scavenger hunt of memorabilia in their apartment, with the final clue leading him to meet her a few blocks away."
The warm & welcoming reception was hosted in the Old Mill Guest House's open-air courtyard beneath an expansive pergola. Floral arrangements by Simplicity in Mind were thoughtfully arranged atop raw wooden tables in an organic tablescape design by Elite Wedding & Event Planning. The space offered a relaxed feel, as gauzy runners, amber votives, and small bud vases elegantly mingled with the delightful June evening.
Even these incredible custom soap wedding favors by Thistle and Olive Soapery matched the warm and earthy feel of the reception decor!
