Alexis and Danny met in their first class, on their first day of law school back in August of 2012. Alexis arrived early to get the best seat, and as Danny made his way into class, he pretended to walk up and down the rows looking for a seat, all the while looking at Alexis. In Danny's words, "It was love at first sight," but as the saying goes, timing is everything. Following law school, Alexis and Danny went their separate ways, but found their way back to each other in April of 2020 when Alexis sent Danny a message that rekindled their friendship and ultimately became a romantic relationship. In September of 2022, Danny proposed to Alexis in Scotland at Urquhart Castle overlooking the beauty of Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands, and one year to the day of their engagement, the couple wed in an intimate ceremony in Pacific Palisades, California.
The couple wed at the luxurious Bel Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisade, California, all captured on camera by Alexandra Wallace. The venue is a private Mediterranean-style mansion with breathtaking ocean views. The couple exchanged vows on the bluffs overlooking Los Angeles Bay with a backdrop of swaying palms, lapping waves and lush gardens, with the bride donning a dress designed by Ines di Santo.
The ceremony was a beautiful, traditional Jewish ceremony planned with the help of XOXO Weddings. The bride and groom chose to have their wedding party seated with their guests during the ceremony for the wedding parties’ own comfort, and to make their experience even more intimate for the couple. Elegant wedding ceremony design featured white drapery over the chuppah accompanied by statement white rose and greenery floral design by The Flower Lab, helping the Pacific backdrop to still shine through.

The design for the day was classic, clean, and sophisticated, featuring white linen, white rose varieties, and candle votives for a romantic ambiance. There were two signature cocktails to represent and honor both the bride and groom’s cultures. The bride’s cocktail was a Salud Margarita. The groom’s cocktail was a L’Chaim Old Fashioned. Stirrers were topped with the couple's monogrammed initials for an extra detail.
The cake was from Top Tier Treats in Los Angeles, California. It was a 3-tiered smooth frosted vanilla cake with raspberry mousse and puree filing with a mixed buttercream frosting. While the cake-topped continued the clean-line, sophisticated design, an element of whimsy was added through the sculpture of the couple's dog that appeared to be already taking a taste of the cake.
