A Baltimore wedding that put a modern spin on black and white
Kelsey and Thomas spent the first few years of their relationship dating long-distance. After years of being separated by nearly 500 miles, Thomas moved back to Baltimore and the couple was engaged privately at home before dining at Kelsey’s favorite local restaurant to celebrate. Their Baltimore wedding embraced a crisp black-and-white color palette with a modern edge and elegant simplicity. Planned with the help of Lauren Corrigan Events and hosted at the Accelerator Space, the venue offered a modern industrial setting complete with walls of iron grid windows and beautiful skylights, all perfectly captured by L. Hewitt Photography.
A sheer organza wedding dress topper
For the wedding, Kelsey wore a strapless gown by Sassi Holford from Gamberdellas with a delicately draped organza topper, softly detailed in floral embroidery.
A classic plaid suit
Thomas’ look was also a standout, taking a classic suit for a modern twist in a deep blue and green plaid print with black accents.
Emerald green mix and match bridesmaids
The bridesmaids wore mix and match styles and patterns in emerald green and black to complement the black and white theme. The bridesmaid bouquets by Violet Floral Designs were smaller version of the bride's gorgeous, all-white baby's breath and orchid bouquet.
A first look in front of blooming city trees
The couple shared their first look among the newly budding trees outside. Kelsey and Thomas also took this opportunity to share their personally written vows privately with each other to keep the moment intimate.
An indoor fireplace ceremony
The indoor ceremony was set in front of a gently lit fireplace, where Kelsey and Thomas stood between two pillars of baby’s breath while guests sat on either side.

The table of contents
An escort card display, titled "Table of Contents," was inspired by Kelsey’s love of books and included chic black bookmarks for guests to keep as wedding favors.
Black and white reception design
The black and white color palette came to life as long ivory curtains separated the dining space from the all-black bar. The tablescapes included mini bud vases courtesy of Violet Floral Designs, which made for smaller, unique arrangements with soft white blooms.
Hosting a martini bar
A big hit with guests was the martini bar, which served Kelsey's favorite drink late into the night.
