From Masson Liang Photography: The couple Ashley and Connor met at the University of Minnesota through mutual friends. They were both engaged while on a trip to NYC along the Hudson River. They both decided that wanted to get married at one of their favorite cities and hotels down in Miami Beach. They wanted to avoid the blistering cold of MN but wanted to get married in November. They were in love with the people, culture, and atmosphere. The biggest selling point for The Nautilus for them was the rooftop overlooking the beach.
The overall wedding theme was clean, tropical, minimal, and modern. The color palette include a lot of whites, beach/sand colors and textures. They wanted the main color elements to surround natural greens from the plants, blues from the skies, and the pops of pink from the florals.
For attire, the bride wore a custom Dan Jones The Label dress with a beaded corset top with a minimal and sleek ivory bottom. She also wore Bauble Bar earrings and feathered heels from Pour La Victoire.
The stationery was all custom designed by the groom and had a local printer letterpress them. They wanted it to be simple while having a little pop of color. The groom included palms on the invitations and also did a rose gold foil letterpress that matched the brides' engagement ring, his wedding band, and the silverware at the reception. The seating chart and welcome sign was made using pieces of acrylic and white oil paint markers.
