Modern Chic Greenery-filled Wedding in Gold and White
It’s official, we’re obsessed with gold and white decor with loads of greenery. Wedding planner by day, this bride felt a lot of pressure to have an extraordinary wedding, but she managed to plan a picture perfect day with a modern chic touch and geometric details throughout.

Planning your own wedding
From the bride: As a wedding planner getting married, you feel a lot of pressure by family, friends and even industry colleagues, to have an extraordinary wedding. So when we got engaged I was over the moon excited, but also extremely stressed, especially because I knew we didn't have the budget to give myself that over-the-top wedding day. Planning & designing for someone else is so much easier than doing it for yourself.
DIY decor done right
There were lots of hands-on projects my fiancé and I would work on late into the nights, and also projects our families tirelessly helped us build to help bring my vision to life. Our custom geometric shelving display actually now hangs on our living room wall in our home, and a lot of the signage I made has found itself a spot in our house somewhere. I am a huge fan of greenery, so I knew I wanted there to be tons of greens on our wedding day.
Custom made elements
I was actually a little worried having a fall wedding that there would be too many trees that had already turned, but we were able to find a park nearby with the perfect amount of greenery in the trees. When I couldn't find things that I wanted, I made them myself. Like my gold toe white heels, I designed and had them custom made, and our weddings bands were also made to suit our tastes and our wedding design.
Flawless design
As a stationery designer, I did all of our stationery pieces for the day, which was so much fun to work on and so nice to see on everyone's fridge when we went over for visits! The day itself couldn't have been more perfect! I seriously sometimes have to pinch myself because everything went so flawlessly that it feels like one of the many dreams I had been having leading up to our big day.
