When looking for venues, we finally stumbled across Whispering Tree Ranch. It was tucked away right under South Mountain. It was surrounded by fields of vegetation, but nestled in between hundreds of old trees that provided shade and cool weather in the Arizona heat. We knew we didn’t need to look any longer. It was the one!
Although our wedding party was wearing the perfect shades of mint and coral, we incorporated a well-versed, mismatched feel throughout the day. Our tables were all old, shabby chic, refurbished with distressed paint and covered with lace tablecloths and runners. Vintage inspired place settings were accented with baby’s breath and soft colored floral. The reception area was lit by string lights that dangled from one end to the other.
We started with many DIY projects, such as homemade favor boxes with mustaches and lips to show our sense of humor. We filled them with candy and packets of seeds, and they said, “Watch our love grow!” Other gorgeous details from our day included stunning floral by Fleurt Floral Art and custom signage from Etsy.
Pixy Cakes made the most delicate looking 3 tiered carrot cake, accented with Juliet Garden Roses, and had our guests raving about it! Our day would not have been possible without the love and support of our close friends and family. Our photographer, Rachel Solomon Photography, captured our day to the fullest with flawless execution and our vendor coordinator Jenny worked seamlessly to ensure nothing went awry. We enjoyed every last moment of our special day and will remember it for all the years to come.
