Minimalist Romance Wedding At Delamere Manor

Bride in lace gown and long veil at country house wedding

A sunny, Autumnal day in September brought about the collaboration of some serious Cheshire talent at the simply stunning Delamere Manor in Cuddington. Organized and directed by Stationer Natalie from Jellypress, the shoot was a sublime mix of fine art and classic style with a sprinkle of the modern trend!

Delamere Manor is an outstanding country house, set back in the Cheshire countryside. Florals & Styling

The styling was by Kate from Florence & Vera Events. Using a delicate, fine art approach to the tablescape and cocktail bar, Kate focused on cut glass, blush, nude, and muted tones to ensure that the breathtaking caramel base of the floral ingredients really popped. Whitehouse Crockery provided divine crockery and glassware for the table.

The florals by the insanely talented Perfect Bouquet Full Of Flower were inspired by natural, Italian, and French romantic style, with a nod to minimalistic style. Flowers were used to creating the bouquet and the table centerpieces, and a selection of greenery with gypsophila clouds was used to create the astounding backdrop and captivating floral door installation.

To gain a natural, garden and an organically wild look, only foraged greenery was used, including earthy tree branches. The color palette was a sublime mix of white, nude, dusky pink, coffee, toffee, brown, and a pop of apricot and orange tones. This palette included floral ingredients such as; Vendela, Cappuccino, Toffee, Cafe Latte, Quicksand, and Westminster Abbey roses, scabiosa, eustoma, nigella, sweet peas, gypsophila, and local grown dahlias and phloxes.

What to Wear?

Bride in lace gown and veil on stone steps outdoors

The Bridal Lounge supplied the beautiful gowns for the day and L & J Formal Hire complimented each look so stylishly with the suits they supplied. Allure Bridal 9716 was the first gown featured which comprised a sweetheart neckline, delicate spaghetti straps, a figure-flattering sheath silhouette, and a low illusion back with buttons running down the back. It was a great piece to show that whilst wearing a figure-hugging gown, you can still look soft and romantic.

We were fortunate to be able to showcase the matching veil which added some real drama and movement to the whole effect. The second gown was style 9704 also from Allure bridals. Symmetrical appliqués line this slim-fitting sheath gown, featuring delicate off-shoulder cap sleeves. The Bardot or off-the-shoulder look is a huge current trend but it can be quite uncomfortable. This gown features soft elastic bands hidden within the dress to keep the straps where they should be but allowing movement at the same time. These incredible visions were accessorized with some beautiful head-pieces from the super talented Glorious By Heidi and exquisite jewelry supplied by The Jewellers Guild and Sarah Vuong Bridal JewelleryCharlotte Mills provided some delicately detailed shoes, always with the trademark Silver Sixpence inside each pair.

The Cake

Fiona Hackshall Wedding Cakes is a local company, based in Nantwich. When designing the cake for the shoot, Fiona took the color palette and decided on a base blush color. This really emphasized the detail of edible wafer paper flowers and pearls that matched the detailing on the wedding gowns used in the shoot. The blush color mimicked the bride's skin under the lace. All exquisitely finished with a silk bow, to add a more contemporary feel.

The Stationary

The stationery suite was created by Natalie from Jellypress with the minimalist modern bride in mind, who still craves a touch of romance. A modern hand-lettered and traditional serif font combination, soft off-white paper stock, and dusty pink accents completed the look. The menus were personalized with guest name tags bound with luxurious soft blush silk ribbon.

The welcome sign was produced using frosted perspex with white printed detail. The soft frosted acrylic provides a modern yet, timeless quality. Perspex was utilized again for the Floral Table Plan Plinth. Clear perspex was used in this case to showcase the stunning floral art arrangement of Perfect Bouquet full of flowers.

The Backdrops

On-trend backdrop pieces were provided by The Word Is Love. Featuring neon signage and cool, fun glitter balls, these backdrops contribute the most amazing attribute at any wedding or event. A white mesh frame adorned with ‘Drunk In Love’ was a main feature in the secret nightclub, perfectly poised for the couple whilst multi-award-winning DJ Andy Murphy enticed them to dance the night away! Other lighting elements around the spectacular venue included up-lighters and dancefloor lighting, provided by Luminate Events.
