Toris, a television producer, and Bryan got married in an elegant and romantic micro-wedding on Santorini in Greece during the spring of 2023. From their very first meeting, both the bride and groom had their hearts set on the idyllic Santorini. Wedding planner Christie Pouliasi was honoured to help them create an incredible celebration on what she also considers the most romantic location for a destination wedding in Greece! Wanting to celebrate the love not only between the couple, but also between their closest family and friends, their wedding included just 20 guests. Throughout the wedding planning process at Cavo Ventus, the couple and their planner stayed true to their desire for understated elegance. To help with this, they designed a fresh and modern take on a timeless white and silver color palette. Their ceremony took place surrounded by panoramic sea views, and because they didn't want to hide one bit of Santorini’s amazing views and breathtaking landscape, they constructed a transparent gazebo. This gazebo also created the illusion that the flowers by Red Box Days were floating in the air! They added transparent chairs for the guests and created a jaw-dropping flower aisle using the same white roses, peonies, anthuriums, and lots of hanging amaranthus as were used with the gazebo. It was pure magic!
The reception took place on a terrace to provide guests continued access to view the endless sea and starry skies. Christie Pouliasi surrounded a serpent shaped table with elegant and majestic chandeliers. Oh, and don’t underestimate the reflective, space-expanding powers of a mirrored table! Guests could see the chandeliers’ lights reflected on it as though they were stars. Το add even more power to that natural lighting, the table was filled with numerous candles. It's important to note that the Greek element was, of course, not omitted! The couple created personalized favor boxes (white with black ribbon) for the guests that included traditional Greek products, such as olive oil, honey, spices, olives, and soap. It's hard to imagine a day more intimate, meaningful, and magical!
