Marisa and Chadd came from LA to be married at Big Sur Lodge on a beautiful, sunny day surrounded by their closest friends and family. They said "I do" at their micro wedding under the giant Redwood canopies before hosting a small cake and toast and escaping to take the most stunning portraits on the coast. Keep scrolling to see how they had a macro celebration with a micro guest list in one of the most beautiful natural settings we can imagine. Captured by Jamie LeMarie Photography
Bride Marisa got ready for the big day in the Tree Cottage at Glen Oaks with help from her mom, sisters, and friends. She carried a delicate bouquet of wildflowers by Willi Wildflower in a variety of sweet color and textures.
The couple and their wedding party took a short drive to Big Sur Lodge for the ceremony where they hosted it amongst the Redwood trees.
After saying I do, the bride and groom hosted a small celebration after with a champagne toast and wedding cake from Sweet Reba's.
The couple's family and friends gave heartfelt speeches, and after taking some family portraits - including, of course, photos with the couple's beloved dog, Soho - the couple returned to Glen Oaks for portraits amongst the Redwoods.
After the forest, the couple and their photographer drove up the coast to Garrapata State Park, where they finished off the most amazing day adventuring on the cliffs along the coast. The couple shared their first dance with the waves crashing as their soundtrack. It was truly a micro-wedding to remember!
