Can't find the wedding venue you want? Build your own! Okay, that may not be an option for everyone; but for Alex and Brad, their mauve and marsala preppy wedding was centered entirely around the venue that they dreamed into reality, with the help of friends and family.
This wonderful event, takes the phrase "special day" to a whole new level. You can see all of the beautiful moments, brought to you by Laura Barnes Photo, when you visit the full gallery here!
From Laura Barnes Photo: I have been elated about Alex and Brad's wedding since I first met with them last fall. Alex shared with me that with the help of family and friends, she and Brad were building their dream venue! Alex is a bride with perfect style and a truly wonderful designer.
I feel privileged that I was there to capture their wedding day. My favorite moment was when they walked down an aisle of confetti as husband and wife!!
The bride (Alex) dreamed and built the venue specially for her wedding day with the help of her Father, family friends and groom. From the Bride: Since I owned my own venue I didn't have to rent the venue out so that cut out a huge cost to begin with. My wedding was about $12,000. I had bbq, a live 6 piece band, and a dessert bar. All my decor was previously owned by myself and I did all set up myself. It was extremely hands on and intense but turned out great.
