Light & airy vintage wedding fashion

The bride and groom for this gorgeous editorial stepped out of time in chic vintage fashion to match the Victorian mansion estate. The bohemian style of the bride's lace dress juxtaposed beautifully against the groom's refined English style tan and black suit. 

The bride's dress was designed by local Portugese atelier Pureza de Mello Breyner; her shoes are by Crème Caviar.

The bridal makeup look was created by Carla Araújo; hair design by Mónica de Sousa Hair Studio.

The groom's suit and shoes were designed by Zebra of Portugal. 

Luxury Victorian venue in Portugal

When picturing a 19th century manor wedding, you might picture yourself in the English countryside. However, this stunning historic wedding estate is located in Sintra, Portugal. From romantic architecture to stunning floral gardens Camélia Gardens is a truly spectacular backdrop for a romantic destination wedding. 

"Camélia Gardens is a 19th century mansion, designed and built in the English style house full of history and with the best view of the Serra de Sintra. Inside there are unique details such as the beautiful wooden floor, the large windows and interior shutters, the fireplace and the balcony overlooking the garden and the Serra de Sintra. Outside there is a huge garden composed mainly of the flower that gives the venue’s name – camellias - and a viewpoint with a privileged view of the Pena Palace." - How Love Begins

This reception was conceived and designed under the influence of a Victorian style, using classic and elegant details, with luxurious details, provided by some pieces in a golden tone. How Love Begins brought the outdoor garden party indoors with French country patterns and powder blue details!

The colorful and romantic florals were designed by Into Bloom; we especially love the cascading greenery along the fireplace. 

Rentals for this elegant design were provided by Maison Christina; the vintage paper goods were by Invite Momentos Felizes.
