Kate grew up in Arizona and loved the idea of a summer wedding. The Arizona sun really does make a party brighter and more fun! So it was with the idea of a quintessential summer soiree that Kate and Tommy started planning a celebration with Jenni Thye of Imoni Events that not only celebrated the couple, but also the fun summer can bring. The inspiration: Sipping Aperol Spritzes while sitting under umbrellas in beautiful cane back chairs, enjoying a view that screams vacation mode. Keep scrolling to see how this inspiration ultimately came together with Jenni's help, and all captured on camera by Rachel Solomon Photography.
Invitations by Celebrations in Paper set the tone with elegant black and white stationery wrapped in a delicate pink tulle ribbon and slipped into envelopes with summery watercolor florals.
Kate stunned in a fitted crepe wedding dress from Stanley Korshak that exuded a classic vibe. She paired her classic strapless dress with the simplest of jewelry and a timeless cathedral length veil.
Floral bridesmaids' dresses in a variety of patterns and styles helped bring that summery feel to life at Paradise Valley Country Club, while Tommy's blue suit with patterned tie also brightened the overall look of the wedding party. There's nothing quite so beautiful as that quintessential summer pink and blue pairing.
Because the bride and groom knew it would be a sunny day, they provided delicate parasols to all of their guests to help block the summer sun during their ceremony.

Vibrant linens popped against the green grasses of the country club lawn. The outdoor cocktail hour featured floral table linens with natural linen pads for the chairs that tied in the back with classic khaki bows. Centerpieces by Lux Florist were kept simple with colorful florals in small vases, and of course, guests were treated to plenty of umbrella shade!
Bar menus were designed to mimic the cane-back chairs guests used to sit and admire the iconic Camelback Mountain. The custom bar menus were also complemented by custom wood drink stirrers printed with a floral image at the top.
Every aspect of Kate and Tommy's wedding was measured by sunny elements, so when it came to flowers and overall decor for the reception dinner, they kept things bright and fun. Even the food options were designed to evoke summer. Salmon with lemon and fresh garden vegetables fed folks who wanted to dance the night away instead of being weighed down by a heavy meal.
Summer florals carried through the couple's smaller three-tiered cake, featuring peachy pink and periwinkle wildflowers against a textured white background.
