The bride's wedding dress from the Rebirth collection was designed by Dimitra Antonea, of the famous Greek brand Made Bride by Antonea. The gown was created out of tulle with a dropped waist and embroidered with tiny floral beads. It boasted a V neckline both in front and in the back, airy tulle sleeves, and fringe embellishments that cascaded down to the cuffs. The groom's suit was made by the talented Maison Geraci. Located in the south of France, it draws its inspiration from its Italian origins and the luxury vibe that results is obvious.
Castello di Donnafugata is a magnificent historic castle located in the southeastern region of Sicily, Italy. This fortress is renowned for its exquisite blend of architectural styles, including Baroque and Gothic elements, which reflect the castle's rich and diverse history. The castle also features beautifully landscaped gardens and opulent interiors with impressive frescoes, antique furnishings, and stunning period decor.
The romantic atmosphere at sunset at Castello di Donnafugata is truly magical. For this shoot, the wedding colors chosen were a harmonious blend of gray-green, soft pink, and oranges, inspired by the enchanting hues of the sunset casting a warm glow on the light orange walls of the castle. The golden candelabras and flickering candles enhanced the romantic atmosphere that much more by contributing to the warm atmosphere.
Miss Rose by Perrine did a wonderful job with the floral arrangements, enhancing the beauty of the Castello di Donnafugata. Shades of pinks and peaches brought a local Sicilian touch and an undertone of elegance, while the addition of succulents added a unique "extra" to the decor.
