Gulnoza and Romain, a cross-cultural couple from Kurdistan and the Franco-Australian blend, began their love story on the opposite side of the globe during school. Years later, they chose the enchanting south of France as their wedding backdrop, tying the knot at Castel Bay in Toulon, surrounded by the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Memories of this wonderful day were captured for the couple by photographer JD Bascio and videographer Renaud Conti. Throughout the entire event planned with the help of Noce de Rêve, the air was filled with joy and cultural richness as the couple merged their backgrounds seamlessly, creating memories for all who attended.
Gulnoza wore a bespoke off-the-shoulder creation by Sandra Mansour for the ceremony. It was a gown fit for royalty with delicate beading covering the entire dress, including over the skirt that boasted the perfect ballgown volume. The same beaded details were embroidered onto the stunning cathedral length veil.
The couple made sure to provide their guests with a preview of the event through a classic black and white sign that provided each of the wedding event details accompanied with playful images. They made sure to bring continuity to the sign with an asymmetrical accent of baby's breath.
The couple's celebration unfolded against the breathtaking backdrop of Castel Bay with a sublime floral decoration of baby's breath and white roses crafted by L'art qui Pousse. It was in front of this creation where family and friends gathered to witness the exchanging of vows. To reflect the bride's Peruvian roots, the couple incorporated a Sofreh Aghd into their ceremony.
Following the heartfelt exchange of vows, the newlyweds strolled through a shower of olive leaves, reminiscent of the Provence landscape that they love so much.

The festivities continued with a delectable feast provided by Fleur de Sel, treating guests to the delights of French cuisine. The Mediterranean served as the perfect backdrop for the clean and classic white wedding design. Tables were set up with entirely white linens and accented with the natural wood detailing of the chairs. This neutral backdrop allowed their ethereal florals made of baby's breath and singular stems of white roses to take center stage.
As the evening unfolded, Gulnoza and Romain changed into more traditional attire as they celebrated their first dance and continued the luxurious celebration complete with a fog machine, colorful lighting courtesy of Fusion Arts, and plenty of dancing thanks to DJ Greg Essians of Manoha Music!
