“My diamond came from my mother. It was the one she wore when my parents were married. Some brides may think it’s odd using a diamond from a marriage that did not work out, but honestly, the marriage gave my parents their greatest gift, my brothers and me. I love that the ring symbolizes the love my family still has for each other.”
To pair with the girls' colorful yet elegant ensemble, Guy wore a 1950's inspired monochrome suit from The Black Tux while groomsmen wore classic black tuxedos.
A classic church ceremony was always in these sweethearts' plans - creating a traditional and grand backdrop for their "I do's". Their nuptials at First Presbyterian Church Nashville were followed by a truly iconic trolley ride to their reception.
"Even though people may see me as outspoken and bold, in many ways, I am a traditionalist. Guy and I both loved the idea of a traditional, church ceremony & what it stands for." - Bride, Ali

The couple had the brilliant idea to incorporate live watercolor painting of their guests' portraits into the celebration. As guests arrived, they were greeted by a talented artist (Candler Reynolds), ready to capture their essence. This interactive and personalized experience not only added an artistic touch to the wedding but also provided a precious keepsake for each guest to cherish.
All of Ali's design dreams came to fruition with her tented pop-up reception at Edwin Warner Park! They chose the hill at the park, not only because it was a blank canvas for their vision but it was also the same place Ali had learned to ride a bike as a child. Featuring shades of ivory, blush, and gold - the sophisticated color palette she chose radiated grace and elegance.
Ali burst into tears when she saw her vision come to life! Exquisite floral arrangements by Mayfield Events and Design, and tables dressed in delicate custom linens and adorned with elegant gold accents were created with rentals by Nuage Designs and Please Be Seated.
The Schumacher wallpaper used for the inlay of their custom bars were a perfect blend of timeless and unique. Even their wedding cake by Dessert Designs by Leland included the pops of pink floral against the traditional style!
The couple's dog was the first guest of honor to test out the dance floor before the swinging tunes of Erik Blue Band and romantic lighting by Nashville Event Lighting transformed the space for the dance party! Her sweet face also adorned the guests' beverage koozies.
Ali's keen eye for detail and artistic flair were evident in every aspect of the decor, from the carefully curated floral arrangements to the personalized touches adorning each table. On the other hand, Guy's laid-back and fun-loving nature infused the celebration with a relaxed and joyful vibe that resonated with everyone present.
After their fabulous dance party, guests brought their cowboy hats and sparklers outside for a fun sparkler exit, followed by vintage getaway car ride with Matchless Transportation.
