The definition of a black-tie wedding was hosted at Crimson Lane
One night, Jenna was barhopping with some of her friends at Brathaus when her future fiance, Joshua, walked in. He made his way over to Jenna, tapped her shoulder and after chatting for a bit, they realized their paths had crossed earlier in life! Soon after this meet-cute, they became boyfriend and girlfriend and had their first official date at Jenna’s favorite pizza place. A year later, Joshua proposed during a weekend getaway at Hocking Hills. Keep scrolling to see how Jenna and Joshua's black-tie wedding day came together at Crimson Lane, all captured by Hayley Moore Photography.
Crimson Lane: A modern meets vintage venue
Located in the Ohio countryside, the captivating Crimson Lane venue set the stage for a Jenna and Joshua’s wedding day with an ambiance accentuated by open fields and tall woods. The venue was the perfect location to create the desired blend of modern elegance and vintage-inspired accents.
A bridal look that radiates Hollywood glamour
All eyes were on the Jenna as she gracefully walked down the aisle in a gown that radiated old Hollywood glamour. Designed by Essence of Australia, the gown featured spaghetti straps and a cowl neckline. The dress flowed beautifully, elegantly draped with a sweeping train behind her. Complementing her attire, Jenna chose a signature Yves Saint Laurent perfume and classic pearl earrings to add a touch of sophistication to her overall look, with the perfect hair and makeup by Eigensee Artistry and Denise Chesser.
Monochromatic black bridesmaid dresses
The bridal party perfectly complemented the couple’s style in a monochromatic palette of floor-length black gowns from Dessy Group. The groom, dapper in his black tuxedo and bow tie, stood alongside his groomsmen, mirroring the black-tie sophistication of the bridesmaids’ attire.
Large, fluffy floral design in neutral hues
The florals for the wedding (by Frances Floral Design) included large, fluffy blooms in neutral white hues for both the ceremony and reception spaces. For the ceremony backdrop, cascading baby’s breath created a dreamy, ethereal atmosphere, making the couple the focal point amidst a sea of delicate blossoms. On the reception tables, the same neutral palette took center stage.
Curating vintage reception accents
Vintage accents adorned every aspect of the couple's wedding day, from the elegantly crafted table seating sign and cake stand, to the welcoming sign that greeted guests. A carefully curated flat lay captured the essence of the event’s style, as well.
