Nestled amongst the hills of the Athenian Riviera, Hatzi Mansion is one of the most unique estates and has been owned by the same family for decades. Its view of the sea over the Saronic Gulf at sunset is stunning, but it is so close to vineyards and olive groves that it is the ideal place to celebrate wedding days. Chara and George wanted a black-tie wedding inspired by Tuscany set against the backdrop of its enchanting surroundings, and Hatzi Mansion absolutely delivered! Keep scrolling to see photos captured by Jacobo Pachon of this stunning day planned with the help of Vicky Galata Weddings & Events.
Chara and George found the perfect balance of exquisite luxury details that managed to feel both over and understated in the best way. From the pearl-strap Jimmy Choo shoes to the groom's Ralph Lauren tux, to the luxury Jaguar exit car with floral decoration that you have to see here in the full gallery, each and every detail created a cohesive black-tie look.
Athenian Riviera destination wedding with Greek and Korean traditions
Sophisticated and glamorous Athenian Riviera wedding
We're dreaming of Greece thanks to this insanely gorgeous wedding
The floral palette by Fillo Flower Studio for Chara and George's event featured roses, olives, and eucalyptus with a variety of flowers in dusty pink and white hues. Setting up two large sets of tables with elegant linens, fine art de la table in gold and green details under string lights brought the sophisticated effect the couple desired with stunning views from both sides of the estate.
If you're afraid to try patterns on your wedding day, then choose ones that are timeless. Patterns like the chinoises used in this wedding are a great way to add that vintage feel while maintaining a sense of elegant luxury. Is mixing patterns not your strong suit? You only need one! Pair it like Chara and George did with a neutral plate with a gold rim for that extra special detail for the reception.
Family & friends traveled from London and across Europe to celebrate the couple's love and were dazzled by the slow-cooked wood-oven food, the signature cocktails, the amazing Cuban cigar bar, the endless dance for hours and the scented powder candles as gifts at the end of the evening. It was a truly unique Greek experience that they will always remember!
A luxury wedding certainly calls for luxury desserts, and Chara and George's event delivered thanks to the chefs at Hatzi Mansion. While their wedding cake was a three-tier white cake with dusty pink roses, each of their desserts incorporated elegant, intricate florals and gold to add a special, unexpected sparkle. Vintage serving trays and crystal jars carried this luxury through the entire design of the dessert table. They did the same with the cigar bar cart, playing off that vintage cart and crystal design, while also highlighting the pops of dusty pink florals seen throughout the reception.
