Last week we highlighted two new wedding venues in Florence, offering the Medici experience. A wedding package like no other. Besides getting married in the heart of Florence, you and your guests are also able to explore and enjoy some of the Medici properties around Italy, like the historic Villa Medicea di Lilliano.
This luxe wedding venue is located just 12 kilometers or 25 minutes by car from Florence. Boasting views of the cathedral of Florence as well as rolling hills with olive groves, grapevines, and cypress trees. You really can't get a more classic Tuscan view than this. All this beauty and history is what drew Adaugo and Martin, our next couple to this stunning property.
Please keep reading to explore more of Adaugo and Martin's Tuscan dream wedding and see why their destination wedding photographer, Alberto e Alessandra Fotografia Italiana was so thrilled to photograph a wedding here.
instagram post Don't miss Katia Casprini's Instagram video of their wedding. It is very beautiful.
Adaugo wore a stunning Pronovias wedding gown paired with peep-toe satin heels with sweet bows at the end.
After the reception, she let her hair down and changed into a beaded lace gown with Tulle and danced the night away under a disco ball with her husband. Scroll down to see her second bridal look.
Tuscan wedding planner, DMC Wedding & Events orchestrated this luxury Tuscan Italian wedding. This Siena based company specializes in taking care of all the details, including that the newlyweds came to their reception in style. Adaugo and Martin arrived in a vintage Rolls-Royce. The ideal car for this elegant affair.
Look very closely! You can see Adaugo and Marti's wedding guests standing above. As the newlyweds entered Villa Medicea di Lilliano, they were showered with rose petals. A fabulous start to their Tuscan wedding reception.
Tables were set up in a horseshoe on the lawn. The horseshoe setup encourages conversation between guests, so everyone can see each-other and interact.
After dinner, guests entered the lemon tree conservatory for late-night dancing, a wonderful feature of the conservatory is that it is air-conditioned, a rare amenity found in only a handful of Tuscan event spaces. Here you can see Adaugo's second wedding look where she let her hair down and changed into a beaded and tulle dress.
We love the late-night wedding lighting, disco ball and that their initials are lit on the back wall.
