Painted pastel florals and custom portraits of the venue were featured prominently in this stunning, hand-crafted invitation suite.
a grand chateau venue
The Château du Grand-Lucé served as a dreamlike setting for the wedding of Ashley Pullara and Martin Sallé. This French-American couple, with Ashley from the United States and Martin from France, chose to celebrate their union in the heart of the Loire Valley. Despite unexpected challenges, their wedding day turned into a truly unforgettable celebration.
getting ready
In matching ruffled PJ sets, the bride and her ladies sipped champagne as they prepped for the big day ahead.
the ceremony
In the early afternoon, a sudden storm swept through the region, forcing a complete change of plans. The timeline of the day was entirely disrupted, and the secular outdoor ceremony, initially planned for earlier, had to be postponed. Thankfully, the storm cleared later in the day, allowing Ashley and Martin to exchange their vows under the golden sunlight by a peaceful pond in the château’s park. The delay only added to the emotional intensity of this serene and intimate moment.
a ballroom reception
Meanwhile, the team from Anne-Laure Weddings worked tirelessly to ensure the rest of the day went smoothly. The dinner, originally planned to take place under the stars in the gardens, was moved indoors to the château’s majestic ballroom.
Candlelight flickered on cut colored glasses and a subtle toile print served as a backdrop for the dramatic table setting. Delicate floral arrangements by Sisters & B in varying shades of blush, lavender, and plum graced the center of the long tables.
the fashion
For the ceremony, Ashley wore a breathtaking lace gown by Pnina Tornai with a sheer corseted bodice and matching fingerless lace opera gloves. Her bridesmaids wore dramatically draped gowns in shades of blush. The groom and his men kept things classic in timeless black tuxedos.
Later in the evening, Ashley surprised everyone with a second, more daring outfit, perfectly capturing the celebratory spirit of the night.
champagne tower
Champagne flowed into a tower of gilded coupe glasses as fireworks lit the night sky. If you're thinking about having a champagne tower at your wedding, it's a great way to kick off the toasts.
