Logan is from Texas and Vanessa is part Honduran and part Bolivian Latina living in Southern California. They met through Instagram–modern-day romance! Logan was living in the OC and Vanessa in LA, they met for their first date in the middle and it was #LoveAtForsyth (a play on their last name).
It was always Vanessa's dream to get married in France, so they began the planning and found Château Saint Martin du Tertre. The château is so dreamy and it's only 30 minutes from Charles De Gaulle Airport!
The bride designed her own wedding dress that transformed into a modern form-fitting look for the reception. "I wanted the shoulders to be dramatic and regal so when the dress transformed it still had a special flare to it. I worked with Lujen Labib based in Los Angeles."
The ceremony was so emotional and touching. As a violinist played "Turning Page" by Sleeping at Last, Vanessa made her grand entrance in a carriage pulled by two beautiful white horses. Logan couldn't hold back his emotions watching as she came down the aisle.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the guests were escorted to cocktail hour in front of the château where they were serenaded by a saxophonist. Then the guests gathered around the foyer of the château for the bride and groom's grand entrance and their first dance.
Dinner took place in the château's grand salon. Designed by Dream Paris Wedding, beautiful white and light pink flowers with mirrored gold menus and gold silverware created an elegant and regal dinner space. The bride and groom sat at a gold mirrored table overflowing with flowers and chandeliers lingered above them. Guests took their seats to the soft sound of violins.
After dinner, guests were brought to the front of the château for a surprise. A medley of the couples favorite songs started playing and fireworks filled the beautiful Parisian sky. It felt like a Disney movie–an unforgettable moment for everyone. Then it was party time in the château with the best, DJ Loic. It was truly an unforgettable night! The guests were given toiletry bags as party favors that included hangover kits, a bottle opener shaped like a key, an emergency phone charger, and a custom monogrammed tequila shooter.
