A rustic campground in the mountains made the perfect backdrop for this fun, camp themed weekend wedding. Their ultra private and laid back day included beautiful, hand-made decor and fun pops of color throughout.
Our favorite detail? The handkerchief wedding favors designed by the bride herself! But that's not all there is to love! If you crave a little more adventure, then grab a closer look at the entire day in the full gallery here, beautifully captured by Bethany Jeffery Photography.
From Bethany Jeffery Photography: Rachel & Bryhn's Campground wedding was one of a kind. These two are adventurers in love, and they wanted their guests to truly have an experience, so they rented out the entire campground and cabins for their guests to stay and camp for the weekend.
Their ceremony included a song the bride and the groom sang together with their guests, and they selected friends to stand and share love quotes special to them during the ceremony. Rachel is a designer so the decor and guest favors / handkerchiefs were all made by herself. These two were so in love, and their wedding weekend was a lovely, adventurous one of a kind experience.
From the bride: Have fun, and go with the flow. Don't listen to anyone else about how your wedding should be. Make it about you. And your guests. We thought a lot about wedding we went to, what we liked, what we didn't, and decided we would be completely untraditional, but have a big party for all.
Honestly, a lot of things went "wrong", but everyone was having fun and working as a team, so it didn't bother us, and we barely knew about any of them. And actually, the ceremony was an hour late because my husband-to-be and I were busy jumping in the river watching bald eagles fly by... so just enjoy the day. You're getting married, take it in, enjoy, and don't focus on perfection.
