This gorgeous bride and her dashing groom traveled all the way up to Northern Idaho to tie the knot with all of their closest family and friends at the Hayden Lake Country Club. Planning a wedding from afar is no easy feat, but with all of the gorgeous florals from The Art of Flower, the darling cake from Cakes by Stefanie, and the amazing event design by Rox Sauls Events, you'd never be able to tell.
Together all of the wonderful vendors and the happy couple made this a truly remarkable wedding that will be treasured in memories forever. From the Bride:My favorite moment was when I walked out the door I felt so many emotions all at the same time. Excitement, nerves, happiness...I had to remind myself to keep breathing.
My beautiful bridesmaids started walking as the music began and I couldn't believe this was it. I looked over at my brother about to take my arm and walk me down the aisle. I felt a sense of comfort that my dad was there watching, so proud of this day. As I stepped out I was surprised to see all the love by those around me, and most of all the tears in the eyes of my future husband. From that moment on I knew he would always be there for me and love me more than I could ask for.
I wish we would have gotten married closer to home for us because it was very time consuming and expensive to travel. My suggestion to brides is to book any vendors possible in their hometown like their gown and fitting. Even though having an out-of-town wedding was more work on us, we did it because it was easier on some family who wouldn't have been able to attend otherwise. But because of family and the fact that north Idaho is truly beautiful, it made it all worth it in the end.
My advice to couples: Although my favorite part of the planning process was the small details but it becomes addicting and adds up. When the day comes, just relax and enjoy the moment because the day goes faster than you'd like. No one knows but you that something was forgotten or not set up. Make time to take in what the day is really about.
