Glamour may seem like a stuffy term, but this laid back luxury winery wedding has us rethinking our previous ideas. This fabulous day, which was centered around the brides family vineyard and was both a high end event and easy going, has us completely Ga-Ga!
We cannot wait to share this wedding with you! Be sure to pop the cork on the full gallery, it's absolutely bubbling over with images from the talented Jillian Rose Photography. Cheers!
When we decided to get married, I knew that there truly was only one venue where I wanted to start our forever. My family owns a vineyard in Santa Ynez and I always imagined myself getting married there. Our ceremony took place overlooking sprawling grapevines and gorgeous hills. It was the perfect view.
We had a large wedding party because we wanted to have all those that really meant the world to us stand up there as we said our I do’s. One of the best parts was being able to look beside us at the women and men who helped shape our lives, especially our siblings.
From the Bride: My bridesmaids all wore different Jenny Yoo floor length dresses in a deep blue.
Jenny Yoo Collection presents a variety of dresses, incorporating rich and luxurious silks, chiffons, and cottons to create an elegant, feminine, and refined look. They design for the discriminating bride and bridesmaid who are looking for a dress that she can use not only for the bridal party, but again and again for any special occasion!
My husband and I both love craft beers so our planning and rental team designed a serve-yourself craft beer bar named after our two cats, George Washington and Horatio Gates. People loved the fact that they could go and get a cold beer whenever they wanted.
A lot of guests have also told us that they used their wedding gifts and loved the idea—tiny bottles of olive oil and pinot noir vinegar, which I tied together with twine and a little note.
The dancing part of the evening happened inside the barn which was outfitted with hanging Edison lights and white lounge furniture. We had an amazing band, deBois Entertainment, that played well into the early hours of the morning and the dance floor was never empty.
One of the best memories I have of the wedding was having my husband and all of my family together in one place as we danced the night away.
