This next bride of this keep it simple wedding in Seattle was able to limit her stress with one key phrase. "Keep it simple." She worked from broad ideas down to the little details and worked with what she had, and her results are breath taking! Want to see more? From the Bride: We wanted to keep everything super simple, calm and joyous; The Sanctuary at Admiral was the perfect place! Not only was it super close to our residence, it had a vintage, elegant charm about it that we fell in love with! It was the first and only venue we looked at! I wanted light colors because the venue had darker colors, including beautiful dark wood all around. I went with natural white linen tablecloths and light gray linen napkins.
I wanted tons of glass and candles to give it that romantic feel, with earth tone flowers and hints of blush to match my dress. Because Jason is from the buckeye state of Ohio, we brought acorns into the design to bring in the earthy/park feeling, and tons of greenery to bring in the Pacific Northwest.
I thought a teacup on top of the cake along with a few teacups spread throughout the design of the tables would be perfect! But on top of the cake didn't just sit any normal teacup. The teacup on top of the cake belonged to my Aunt Pammy who passed away from cancer.
