Rachel and Adam chose to tie the knot in a lovely garden setting. To let the natural beauty of their venue shine through, they opted for a neutral color palette of greens, whites, and creams with sweet and simple decor.
Lovely floral pieces, from Florals by Jenny, dot the day adding even more charm. Keep your eyes peeled for the stamped ceremony flags and the oh so cute cake topper from BHLDN. As always, see more ideas for a natural garden wedding in the full gallery here, captured by Mark Brooke Photography.
Adam and I met in college, in the crazy little town of Chico, California. We lived in the dorms together and were best friends immediately. Although we never dated in college, our friendship grew and lasted for years. I moved back to Northern California after college and Adam to his home town in Southern California, Newport Beach. We didn't see each other very often but when we did it was like time never passed. I moved south in 2009 and our friendship picked right back up. In 2010 our friendship turned into a relationship and it has been magic ever since. We were in engaged in Balboa in 2013 and married almost to the day a year later in Corona del Mar. Adam and I are truly best friends that love each other for our strengths and weaknesses.
We went with greens and neutrals not to compete with the 2 acres of garden space. The best part of the big day was seeing the look on Adams face when we met eyes down the aisle. This was a moment that was 12 years in the making.
My advice would be to pick your wedding party carefully! I really had my nearest and dearest by my side. Best friends that have been by my side through thick and thin. My fiancé had 6 groomsmen and 3 ushers and I only had 4 bridesmaids. Those were his special guys and I didn't fill the need to match his number. We were happy with the people we choose to be next to us on our day! Remember you will be looking back on this day forever!
