Just Teasing to all out there who love Jordan Almonds! Love Me Sailor Photography shared with us Lanie and Chris's incredible private ranch in Pioneertown, CA wedding. The decor was DIY, of course, garlands of paper plate flowers, wild flowers in thrifted vases and mason jars (with dyed water, giving them some extra colored flair), and a huge overhang for their "altar", made up of paper plate flowers- in a rainbow! Love it! Read on to hear more about this lovely day.
From Love Me Sailor Photography All the tables had hay bale seating, and such a cool, personal detail- each table number was a ceramic angel holding a number- these were ceramic angels Lanie had received every year for her birthday growing up. This was a great way to incorporate a sweet family tradition into a not so traditional wedding. Lanie's friends helped her assemble the entire day, everyone working tirelessly right up until the ceremony- but it was SO worth it.The decor was awesome, and all the guests agreed.
The ceremony was short but so sweet. One of Chris's lifelong friends married them, and they exchanged vows they each wrote, as well as excerpts from a poem. Their walk back down the aisle was to a very fitting Edward Sharpe and the Zeros "Home". Their dog Calliope escorted them out too, and all of this couldn't have been more them.
The cocktail hour and rest of the evening was filled with bubbly and beer, games, dancing to a great live band, and Indian food- what they had on their first date, not to mention one of their very favorite foods. The desert was extra warm that day, with lots of love between the adorable couple, and all of their friends and family who had come from ALL over to be there on this special day.
