CT wedding planner Jubilee Events created a modern and elegant affair this past summer and we are so excited to share with you! On July 25th, 2009 they celebrated their incredible love for one another overlooking Long Island Sound at Anthony's Oceanview in New Haven, Connecticut. Surrounded by 80 of their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows they had written for each other in an emotional ceremony. By their sides were their "Best Girls", Brenda's best friend and Jennifer's sister. Their nieces scattered rose petals down the aisle and held onto their wedding bands. When they were pronounced married, they danced up the aisle to McFadden and Whitehead's "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" (precursor to the epic dance party to come!). They had a modern and elegant wedding with shades of purple and orange. To see the full wedding and read about their experience, please visit my Kate Parker Wedding!
I love how excited this bride is to be getting married! Her fist pump says it all :)
A more traditional processional for a gay wedding, both brides walk down the aisle together, how beautiful!
I think the biedermeier style of this bouquet with alternating orange and purple hues is so striking.
Loving the deep orange hues at the reception- and this fabulous cupcake stand really sets the mood!
