When Andy and Ella approached Edelweiss Weddings to organize their wedding celebration, their main wish was to have as much space as possible to walk and to be under the Italian sun. Naturally, the planners were ecstatic because such conditions mean an outdoor wedding! Because the couple wanted to be married soon, choices became a bit more limited; however, Edelweiss Weddings had one villa in particular that came to mind, and as luck would have it, it was open on the day they wanted!

The venue offered multiple event locations, including a park, paths, and gorgeous gardens

Villa Porta, where the ceremony and reception were held, is a small, welcoming hotel located in the ancient town of Luino on Lake Maggiore. Luino is situated between Italy and Switzerland, which makes it this heavenly place, shrouded in secrets, as the residents themselves will say. Villa Porta has a large area with a park and many small paths that cut through green and fragrant gardens, and includes a breathtaking view of the lake.

The bride surprised everyone by arriving to the wedding ceremony in a classic red Ferrari

Andy and Ella's ceremony was dazzling from the bright sunny day to the reflection in the lake, all the way through the bride's stunning dress. Ella chose an airy dress with a slight sheen from HoneyMoon Sposa Italia, complementing it with jewelry from Della Bella Gioielli. The ceremony was organized on a panoramic terrace overlooking the lake at 270 degrees. The decor for the ceremony was chosen in a white and green palette, while the rest was inspired by light autumn colors. The bride did have a surprise up her sleeve, though!
